Just a quick announcement: I’ve created a virtual tip jar at https://ko-fi.com/auxiliary_beauty! I can’t add the Ko-fi widget to my homepage without upgrading to a paid WordPress Business account, which would sort of defeat the purpose, so this post will have to suffice.

I hesitated before doing this, because money inevitably makes everything a little more messy. I don’t want my readers to feel obliged to pay for my content, and I don’t want to feel obliged to post a certain quantity and frequency of content. This blog is and has always been a hobby, not an occupation or (shudder) a hustle, which is why I’ve never written paid posts or accepted free beauty products for review.

However, I’m currently looking for a job while finishing my novel and publishing the occasional blog post, and money is somewhat tight. So if you are in the position to support my writing financially, you now have the option to do so! And if not, the fact that you’re reading this blog at all is support enough, and I will never, ever take it for granted.
